Plymouth Man Faces Another Child Molestation Charge

Another sexual molestation allegation has been made against 20-year-old Edgar Herrera, of Plymouth.

According to Detective-Sergeant Leo Mangus of the Plymouth Police Department, on Monday, June 4th a second juvenile female reported that she was also sexually molested by Herrera. The minor was apparently 11-years old at the time of the incident which reportedly occurred in March of this year.

Detective-Sergeant Mangus investigated the report and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued for Herrera on June 22nd. He was located and arrested on the morning of Thursday, July 5th. Herrera was booked into the Marshall County Jail on additional charges of child molesting and child solicitation. His bond has been set at $17,500 cash.

As previously reported, Herrera was arrested on a Level 3 Felony charge of child molestation back in May. With that case, Detective-Sergeant Mangus investigated a claim about a 13-year-old girl who was reportedly sexually assaulted by the suspect in September of 2016.
