A new member was appointed to the Marshall County Drainage Board during the County Commissioners’ first meeting in July.
County Auditor Julie Fox reminded the commissioners that following the recent resignation of Dan Voorhees, there was an open seat on the drainage board. Commissioner Kevin Overmyer noted that they were prepared to fill the position with Dave Stultz
There was no opposition to that decision, so the appointment passed. Auditor Fox added that Stultz will just serve out the remainder of the term which will run until December 31st of this year. After the term runs up, commissioners will be required to take official action on an appointment once again.
