John Glenn School Board to Begin Search for New Superintendent

John Glenn School Board

Although John Glenn School Superintendent Richard Reese hasn’t formally presented his resignation to the school board of trustees, he did urge the board members to consider meeting with search firms to find his replacement.

During Tuesday night’s meeting, the board members agreed to meet on Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 to interview firms to begin the search for Reese’s successor. Those meetings will be at 7 p.m. both days and will most likely be held in executive session. The board members may also consider moving in a different direction with their legal representation during these sessions.

No decisions will be made in the meetings which will be closed to the public. Any decisions would need to be made in a public meeting.

Reese stressed that he will present a formal resignation notice to the board in a future meeting.
