A Hamlet man was arrested early Monday morning during a traffic stop in the area of Jefferson Street and Oak Road in Plymouth.
According to the Plymouth City Police Department, 34-year-old Samuel Berry was found to be wanted on a felony warrant for escaping custody through La Porte County.
Berry was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a Level 5 felony charge of escape from lawful detention. He is being held without bond.
