Town of Culver officials have rescheduled the date for the Damore Amphitheater grand opening celebration.
The previously scheduled event was threatened by rain so it was postponed to Friday, July 12 to coincide with the Culver Lake Fest activities. A concert and dedication ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET. All of the donors will be recognized for their generous efforts in making the project a reality.
The Damore Amphitheater was built through the generosity of dollars donated by the public through a crowdfunding grant that was matched with funds from the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority, several individual donations, and a $25,000 grant from the Marshall County Community Foundation. The bid was awarded to Easterday Construction in the amount of $131,450.
