Two Arrested After Drugs Found During Plymouth Traffic Stop

A Plymouth traffic stop reportedly led to the discovery of drugs Sunday night. Plymouth Police say they pulled over a vehicle at U.S. 30 and Oak Road around 8:00 p.m. A police K-9 was brought to the scene and indicated the presence of narcotics, according to officers.

The vehicle’s driver, Alec Ashby, 23, and the passenger, Pedro Jimenez Jr., 27, were both taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia. Police say Ashby was also driving with a suspended license.
