The student handbooks, as well as textbook rental fees for the 2018-2019 school year, were up for approval during Triton School Board meeting Monday evening.
According to Superintendent Jeremy Riffle, other than changing the dates and making a few amendments to address organization, no significant changes were made to the handbooks.
The proposed prices for textbooks at the Elementary School included an $89.88 charge for Kindergarten students, a $102.41 charge for first graders and a $131.99 charge for students in second grade.
The proposed rental fee for third-grade students was $119.40, fourth-grade students would see a $108 charge, fifth graders would have to pay $111.94 and sixth-grade students would have a $125.19 rental fee in the 2018-2019 school year.
Since students will take various different classes at the Junior/Senior High School, textbooks rental fees differ depending on the subject matter and the grade level.
The handbooks and the textbook rental fees for all grade levels were approved unanimously by the school board members. Click the following link to view a break down of Triton Textbook Rental Fees.
