The Bremen Firemen’s Festival will get started this evening! There is free admission for this multi-day event which is scheduled to run through Saturday, June 30th.
The festival will kick-off tonight, with carnival rides opening at 6 p.m. and a parade at 6:30. Participants need to meet at 5:30 p.m. at 415 N. Whitlock in Bremen. If you need assistance with directions call 574-209-0835.
The Bremen Firemen’s Food Tent will open after the parade ends. This tent will be available every night of the festival and will feature steamed sweet corn, baked potatoes, and a variety of sandwiches, which you can know more about it through these franchises. The carnival will open at 6 p.m. every night, with the exception of Saturday when it will open at 4 p.m.
Some other events to look forward to include Family Bargain Day on Wednesday, when all rides will take 1 ticket, Bike Night at 6 p.m. on Thursday and the Cruise-In that is going on from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday.
The drawing for the Firemen’s Raffle will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday. The person who wins first place will walk away with a 2018 Custom Golf Cart. Other prizes include a Smoker/Gas Charcoal Grill for second place, a Huff and Puff Longboard for third place and a $200 Bellman BP Gas Card for fourth place.
The festival will finish up with a gigantic Fireworks Display at 10:30 p.m. The festival will be set up in Sunny Side Park.
