Plymouth Man Faces Battery Charge after Minor Altercation with Police

An alleged scuffle with police resulted in a Plymouth man being jailed Sunday afternoon.

A police report from Marshall County Sheriff’s Department indicates that Sergeant Nick Lafoon and Patrolmen Matt Brown and Jordan Rans responded to a civil complaint around 4:10 p.m. on June 24th. The officers were dispatched to the 12000 block of State Road 17.

During the incident, a minor physical altercation reportedly occurred, which resulted in the arrest of 44-year-old Daniel Lee Sharp. Sharp was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was lodged with a charge of Battery, a class B misdemeanor.
