Officers with the Plymouth Police Department will soon have police policies and procedures available to them online.
Plymouth Police Chief David Bacon informed the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members this week that it provides the department a web based platform for rules and regulations. The officers can log on to the site and look at regulations at any time. Any updates can be uploaded easily and notification will be given of new policies and it’s acknowledged that they’ve read the policies.
The money to get the platform up and functional is in the department’s budget for 2018.
The resolution was approved with a unanimous vote.
