Marshall County Surveyor Craig Cultice hopes to get three high-visibility safety jackets for his staff to be use in the winter with the application of an IPEP Health and Workers Compensation Grant.
On behalf of the Marshall County Safety Committee, Commissioner Mike Delp explained that the jackets would be visible when the surveyors are out in traffic. They are more of a heavy duty material when outside in the colder temperatures.
The amount of the grant is $296.85. The surveyor’s office will provide the 20 percent match for the grant.
The commissioners approved the application process in order to obtain the funding.
