The Plymouth Police Department and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a property damage accident that occurred in the area of Plymouth-Goshen Trail and Randolph Drive just after 1 a.m. on Thursday.
The Plymouth Police Department received a call about several power lines down in the area shortly after the crash. When they arrived at the scene a small fire had flared up and was quickly extinguished by the Plymouth Fire Department. Officers say they discovered a black 2009 BMV Mini Cooper that had crashed into a field on the south side of the road. The car was left at the scene by the driver after sustaining heavy front end damage.
According to the report, officers searched the area but did not find anyone who was injured or in critical condition.
