A Disaster Recovery Center will open in Plymouth for two days for flood survivors needing assistance.
The center will be today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fitness Forum at 2855 Miller Drive in Plymouth.
Recovery specialists from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the State of Indiana will be available to provide in-person support to residents and business owners who are filling out their applications or updating their status. Voluntary organizations are available and offer a variety of services to help survivors recover.
If you have already registered for assistance, it is not necessary to visit a DRC. You may still go to a Disaster Recovery Center to speak with a Recovery Specialist to update your status, submit documentation, or find help from the other organizations.
Marshall County Emergency Management Agency Director Clyde Avery reminds flood survivors that all required documentation must be submitted in order for the FEMA Individual Assistance application to move forward.
The deadline to apply for assistance and to turn in all supporting documentation as part of the application is July 5. For more information, contact a FEMA representative at 1-800-621-3362 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET.
