The Culver Community Schools Corporation is keeping Casey Howard as its business manager. A contract renewal was approved by the school board Monday. Howard said the only changes were a reduction in the days of service and an increase in the life insurance policy.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said the same contract changes will be offered to Technology Director Daniel Medesi, but they still need to discuss the matter with him further, before the board officially renews his contract.
In other business Monday, board members ratified the selection of food service vendors for the 2018-2019 school year. Howard explained that the school corporation is part of the Northern Indiana Educational Services Center. This year, the cooperative has chosen Gordon Foods to serve as its major food distributor. Dairy products will come from Prairie Farms, while bakery goods will be provided by Aunt Millie’s Bakery.
