Some areas on South Michigan Street will be restricted in terms of parking and lane movement during sidewalk and microsurface projects in the City of Plymouth this summer.
City Engineer Rick Gaul told the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members on Monday that curb, ramps and sidewalk repairs will create no parking restrictions from May 21 through June 15. No parking will be in place for a microsurface procedure from June 18 to July 9. These restrictions will be in force from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. Overnight parking will be permitted, but vehicles need to be removed by 6 a.m.
Lane restrictions on South Michigan Street and Webster Street will be in place during sidewalk and curb improvements this summer.
The requests were unanimously approved.
