Marshall County officials will be attending a workshop this morning that details expectations surrounding the Regional Stellar Communities Designation Program.
Government officials from Marshall County, City of Plymouth and the towns of LaPaz, Bremen, Bourbon, Argos, and Culver will meet with Ball State University Community Institute representatives to go over economic and demographic analysis to be included in plans to become a Regional Stellar Community.
The workshop is set to take place today at 9:30 a.m. at the Swan Lake Conference Center.
Marshall County is a finalist in the Regional Stellar Community Designation Program for 2018. A final presentation is expected to be made to stellar officials this fall with an announcement anticipated in December.
