The John Glenn School Board members were reminded that the teacher of the year winner and the school year’s retirees will be honored on May 16 at 3:30 p.m.
Superintendent Richard Reese said the teacher of the year was recently selected by a committee.
“We had a committee that is made up of the superintendent, school board member, principal, association member and a parent,” said Reese. “We have selected someone but we’re not going to reveal that quite yet. That’ll be on May 16 at John Glenn High School.”
A small reception will follow the proceedings with light food and beverage offerings presented by the Family and Consumer Science students.
