FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams will be in Marshall County on Friday, May 11.
Marshall County EMA Director Clyde Avery said the team members will be going door-to-door to visit those impacted by flood. They will assist with registration forms for FEMA financial assistance.
Avery notes that the team members will be wearing official apparel that identifies them as a FEMA representative.
Plymouth will be the starting point with visits to Bremen, German Township, Tippecanoe Township, and the outlining areas of the county.
Avery believes the visits will last one to two weeks. FEMA team members could be in the area longer if the extended time is warranted.
Residents and business owners who sustained losses in the designated counties may apply for assistance by registering online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week until further notice.
