Culver Town Council members considered a special event request for the Taste of Culver when they met last Tuesday.
Event organizer Cheryl Rhodes said the set-up for the event will be similar to past years. She stated that live entertainment will be provided and about the same amount of vendors have signed up. She added that the proposed beer garden will be placed in the same location as last year.
Everything was in order with the request. However, at the time of the meeting, organizers hadn’t met with Police Chief Wayne Bean to discuss specifics related to the beer garden. That meeting was scheduled for the following day.
The members voted unanimously to approve the event and the beer garden, pending the police chief’s approval.
The Taste of Culver will be held in Culver Town Park on Saturday, June 9th from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
