A Bremen man was arrested on drug charges Tuesday following a traffic stop.
The arrest came after a joint operation with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County Drug Task Force and the Plymouth Police Department. The offender in this investigation, 34-year-old Nathan Yeager, was stopped in the manner of a traffic stop on Western Avenue at the intersection of Pilgrim Lane in Plymouth.
Police say Marshall County K9 Officer Andrew Wozniak responded to the scene with K9 Irok where the K9 indicated to the presence of drugs inside Yeager’s vehicle.
Officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle where they allegedly found methamphetamine paraphernalia, 147 grams of suspected methamphetamine with a street value of about $15,000, and over $2,000 in cash.
Yeager was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine as a Level 2 felony and possession of methamphetamine. His cash bond is set at $100,000.
