Vaccinations Available at Marshall County Health Department

The Marshall County Health Department is partnering with Vaxcare to provide vaccinations for most individuals in the county.

According to Public Health Nurse Lisa Letsinger, the partnership allows the county to reach its goal of serving everyone and boosting the county’s immunization rates.

Previously, the health department was only able to provide immunizations through the Vaccines for Children program and a child’s eligibility depended on Medicaid, having no insurance or being underinsured. Through Vaxcare, both childhood and adult vaccines will be offered without that requirement.
