A public hearing will be held over a waiver of non-compliance for tax abatement permitted to DAC Enterprises Inc. during tonight’s Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.
An update from the fee schedule subcommittee will be presented and reports on previous business will be entered by Mayor Mark Senter and City Attorney Sean Surrisi. City council members will consider a resolution to approve an application from Marshall Clevenger for a commercial revitalization rebate program grant.
Other business to be discussed includes an annual report from the Marshall County Economic Development Corporation’s Jerry Chavez, an application from the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department for the exemption of licensing requirements and the approval of CF-1s from the companies AK Industries, Inc and Pretzels, Inc.
The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will hold their meeting a half an hour prior to the city council, at 6 p.m.
During tonight’s meeting members will tend to old business, including an economic development agreement for the Aquatics Center and Early Childhood Learning Center and an executive order for a Fourth Street property.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will also submit no parking requests on behalf of the Walsh and Kelly for the street and sidewalk projects and the board will be asked to consider a request from PirTano Construction to work in the city’s right-of-way along the North side of PIDCO drive.
Bids will be opened for the West Lake Avenue Water Main extension and quotes will be considered for a truck for the water department and wastewater department.
Both meetings will be held in the fire department meeting room at 111 N Center Street.
