Plymouth BOW/City Council to Meet Tonight

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where they will discuss the Marshall County Hazard Mitigation Plan and review an intergovernmental agreement between the City of Plymouth and Marshall County for planning services. Utility Superintendent Donnie Davidson will request more retainage funds to be released for work done on the wastewater treatment facility and two sidewalk requests will be considered.

The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet at 6 p.m. followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m.

The Plymouth City Council members will hold a public hearing for a tax abatement request from Oasis Lifestyles. The company recently completed an expansion project. Later in the meeting, the city council will consider a resolution to adopt the company’s property as an Economic Revitalization Area for purposes of real property and personal property tax abatement.

Mayor Mark Senter will update the city council on efforts of the fee schedule subcommittee, and paperwork will be presented for CF-1 proposals and documents pertaining to the Aquatics Center.

Both the Plymouth City Council and the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet in the fire department meeting room at 111 N. Center Street in Plymouth.
