Impaired Driving, Public Intoxication Sends Residents to Jail

An injury accident sent a Plymouth resident to the Marshall County Jail.

On Wednesday, April 25, Plymouth police say 22-year-old Mikaela H. Masson collided with two parked vehicles in the 400 block of Minor Street. She was allegedly impaired at the time of the accident. She was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. A Plymouth man was taken into custody on Wednesday after a resident alerted police that he was reportedly stumbling down the roadway in the area of W. Madison Street. Plymouth police say 51-year-old Mark L. Freet was highly intoxicated and was taken into custody. According to the report, Freet became disruptive and did not cooperate with staff at the Marshall County Jail. His conduct resulted in charges of battery by bodily waste against a public safety official and public intoxication.
