A tax abatement for Elkay will be up for discussion during tonight’s Culver Town Council meeting. Town officials are also expected to open ambulance bids.
In other business, the Culver Town Council will consider a proposal to upgrade the town’s water meters. Utility Superintendent Bob Porter wants to switch to a radio read system and update more than half of the town’s meters. He told council members earlier this month that the change would reduce meter-reading from a two-day process down to a few hours. It’s expected to cost $105,000.
An update on Culver’s Stellar Plan is also expected during tonight’s meeting. It starts at 6:30 EDT at Culver Town Hall.
