The Culver Community Schools Corporation is starting to plan for summer school. The school board Monday approved a remediation program for third graders who didn’t pass the recent IREAD test, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman.
She says the program is scheduled for the first week in June, and one teacher has been appointed to run it. Shuman adds that school officials won’t know how many students will be in the summer IREAD program until they get the results of the test in a couple weeks.
