The Bremen Police Department released figures from the recent concentrated impaired and dangerous driving patrol.
In Blitz 93, which occurred between March 2 and March 25, six officers from the Bremen Police Department took part in the effort and worked a total of 43 hours. They gave 34 citations and 89 warnings, had two operating a vehicle while intoxicated arrests, 12 criminal arrests and three felony arrests.
The Criminal Justice Institute provided funding for random patrols, saturation patrols and sobriety checkpoints for the Bremen Police Department and 230 other law enforcement agencies in the state during this event. Another effort is typically conducted during the Memorial Day holiday.
