An informational meeting for those residents and business owners affected by the recent flood event is scheduled for tonight.
Officials will have information on what residents should be doing as they continue to rise up from flood waters. Information will be given regarding immediate services available, free well testing and how to prevent further damage. The organization of a Long Term Recovery Committee will take place.
Marshall County Emergency Management Agency Director Clyde Avery will give information on recovery and representatives from the Marshall County Health Department will discuss eradication of mold and mildew in homes and businesses affected by flood waters.
Seating is limited and intended for property owners affected by the flood. If attendance is not an option, a recording of the meeting will be posted on social media channels for review.
The community information meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. tonight in the second floor meeting room (Room 203) in the Marshall County Building at 112 W. Jefferson Street in Plymouth.
