The Culver School Board approved a list of bond projects when they met earlier this week.
The school corporation has approximately $350,000 remaining from some bonds that were acquired three years ago, according to Superintendent Karen Shuman. That money will be spent on three different projects at the Middle/High School.
The projects include cafeteria lighting upgrades, renovations to the restroom there and making some adjustments to the entrance at the high school to utilize the library’s current space as the main entry.
Shuman mentioned that the left over bond funds will likely be exhausted with these projects. During Monday’s meeting, she informed board members that they may need to request pricing quotations and go through the bidding process.
She added that that the projects will probably have to wait until the fall since they’ll be able to receive better pricing after the summer construction time is over.
