Argos School Board members made a few decisions related to summer projects and scheduling when they met Monday night.
Board members approved summer hours for faculty, setting up a 4-day work week schedule for all staff except for summer school teachers. Administrative Assistant Patti VanderWeele said that summer school staff is the exception, as they teach five days a week, typically from around 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.
On a related note, school board members also approved summer school dates, establishing that the session will be held from June 4th through the 28th.
VanderWeele added that board members approved an action to carry forward with summer projects. She said specific projects were established at the meeting. However, with their action Monday night, board members permitted a list of projects to be prepared and once that is complete, a notice will be posted to bidders later this month.
