United Way of Marshall County Coordinating Flood Relief Efforts

Those interested in helping out with Marshall County’s flood relief efforts can volunteer with the United Way. Volunteers can sign up using the United Way of Marshall County’s online form or by calling 211.

Additionally, the United Way is hosting a Community Table meeting Monday morning for those currently taking part in recovery efforts or for those interested in helping. Monday’s meeting starts at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Resource Center in Plymouth.

Additionally, a Flood Incident Command Center will open Monday morning at 8:00 at 121 West Garro Street in Plymouth. United Way of Marshall County says it’s working with emergency management coordinators and other local leaders to maximize resources for the best response.

The United Way is also accepting donations for flood relief. Officials add that cash donations are best during a disaster, since they allow response specialists to purchase needed supplies immediately.

Donations may be made online at marshallcountyuw.org or by contacting the United Way of Marshall County at 574-936-3366. Checks may be dropped off at the Flood Incident Command Center of mailed to:
