Triton School Board members took a big step with their bond project by approving quotes for HVAC installation, roof repairs and auxiliary gym construction at their meeting on Monday.
Michael Kinder & Sons submitted a bid with a contract amount of $4,106,000 for the auxiliary gym at the Junior/Senior High School. Benchmark Mechanical’s bid included a contract amount of $1,012,000 for the HVAC at the elementary school. Morris & Sons were bidding on the re-roofing work that needs done at the Junior/Senior High School. They submitted a bid with a contract amount of $1,274,490.
All quotes received unanimous board approval. Superintendent Jeremy Riffle explained that these projects will be funded through the bond issuance. He added that pre-construction meetings will be held within the next couple weeks to discuss details and layout a timeline for the specific projects.
