A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday afternoon after leading Plymouth officers on a foot pursuit.
Police say 23-year-old Ryan Wood ran from Plymouth Assistant Police Chief Mark Owen from Family Express into a building. Other officers joined in the search for the suspect in an apartment building. Police say they found Wood hiding in an upstairs bedroom. They reportedly found him in possession of two plastic bags of suspected synthetic marijuana, syringes and paraphernalia. Wood was also found to have active arrest warrants out of La Porte County and Berrien County in Michigan.
Wood was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of marijuana and resisting law enforcement.
