The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety will meet tonight where the members will ratify an executive order designating a watch level travel advisory due to flood conditions. The board is also expected to receive reports from department heads and City Engineer Rick Gaul who has a discussion topic concerning the traffic signal at the intersection of Oakhill/Soice and Michigan Street.
The board will meet at 6 p.m tonight followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Mark Senter will have a fee schedule subcommittee update and two ordinances will be up for consideration on second and third readings. They include a fee schedule for the Department of Aviation for the City of Plymouth and an ordinance authorizing the city to issue taxable economic development revenue bonds and notes for construction of the Aquatics Center, Early Childhood Center, and offices for the Marshall County Community Foundation and United Way.
Two resolutions will be considered that would declare certain real estate to be within an economic revitalization area for Weir Enterprises, LLC and Pretzels, Inc.
Both the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and the Plymouth City Council members will meet in the Fire Department meeting room at 111 N. Center Street in Plymouth.
