Bremen Man Arrested after Traffic Stop

A Bremen man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police received a phone call about a reckless driver.

Bremen police say 27-year-old James Rimel was stopped around 4 p.m. on State Road 331 north of 1st Road. Rimel reportedly drove under the influence and intimidated a police officer.

Rimel was booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, operating a vehicle with a BAC of .15% or more, intimidating a police officer, false informing, and obstruction of justice. His bond is set at $1,505 cash.
