The Plymouth School Board updated a few agreements and approved some regular end-of-the-year items, when it met Tuesday. Board members voted to renew the corporation’s service agreement with Go Solutions Group for 2018. It explains that the company provides “Title XIX Fee for Service and Administrative Outreach reimbursement services.” The Plymouth School Board also approved the Section 125 Plan Document for 2018.
Additionally, the conditions of employment for classified staff got a slight update. Superintendent Andy Hartley explained that’s to keep insurance offerings in line with the Affordable Care Act. “We need to reduce a contribution from a certain plan for classified employees, in order to be in line with those regulations and avoid potential hefty fines,” he explained. “So that’s all that this document reflects at this point in time. They typical review and updates will happen at the January meeting.”
Meanwhile, an agreement with the Plymouth Park and Recreation Department was updated to reflect delays in the reconstruction of the infield at Nixon Field. The school corporation’s contribution of $25,000 will now be delayed until January.
The school board also authorized Treasurer Kandi Tinkey to pre-write checks and transfer funds to process invoices between now and the end of the year. Board members also scheduled their next meeting for January 9 at 7:00 p.m.
