The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet tonight where the 2018 intergovernmental agreement between Marshall County and the City of Plymouth for planning services will be discussed. If that agreement is approved, Plan Director Ralph Booker will present the 2018 planning services agreement.
The board members will also consider the 2018 animal control services agreement.
City Engineer Rick Gaul will discuss a change order for the street light project at Oakhill and Michigan Street and present a review of the public survey.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
The Plymouth City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. where a consideration may be made to approve a resolution designating the River Gate South property an economic development target area and an economic revitalization area for the purposes of tax abatement. This is continuation of a public hearing from the Nov. 27 meeting and it is the hope of the council that Developer Scott Sivan will be in attendance to answer questions from the public about the housing development at the corner of Michigan Street and Lake Avenue.
The council members will consider the second and third reading of the salary ordinance and the first reading of an ordinance adopting the fee schedule for the Park Department. A resolution to transfer cash from the City Development Fund to the Safe Routes to School Project Fund is also on the agenda.
Both the Plymouth City Council and the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety members will meet in the fire department meeting room at 111 N. Center Street. Those wishing to attend are asked to use the south entrance.
