Three John Glenn Students Approved for Early Graduation

Three students were before the John Glenn School Board members Tuesday night seeking approval for early graduation.

High School Principal William Morton introduced the students requesting early graduation.

Brene Osenbaugh will be headed to IUSB in January to start her post-secondary education.

Nolan Heying is planning to continue work in the dietary department at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He also plans to attend Ivy Tech.

Clayton Humphrey plans to go to Charlotte, North Carolina to work at the same law firm as his mother. He wants to attend IU-Bloomington in the fall to study business and sports management.

Two other students submitted requests to graduate early, but the school board prefers that they attend a school board meeting to be presented before the requests are considered. They are anticipated to be at the next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 21.

The school board unanimously approved the requests of the three students present at Tuesday night’s meeting. They will complete their high school career on Dec. 22, but will return in June to walk the stage with their classmates.
