A vehicle pursuit in Plymouth Thursday night reportedly ended with the arrest of a South Bend man on meth-related charges. Around 10:43 p.m., Plymouth Police say they tried to pull over a red passenger for an equipment violation. But instead of stopping, the driver allegedly sped away, leading police on a pursuit toward the south side of Plymouth.
Police say the driver lost control near the intersection of Michigan Road and U.S. 31, but then regained control and headed north on U.S. 31 at speeds over 100 miles per hour. The car reportedly came to a stop just north of the Veterans Parkway exit, and the driver, Brian K. Graham Jr., 32, surrendered without further incident, according to police.
Graham was taken to the Marshall County Jail and charged with resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, possession of meth, and possession of a syringe.
