Shortly after midnight Monday morning, The Plymouth Police Department and Plymouth EMS were called to The Mayflower Tavern at 1111 W Jefferson Street for a physical fight that occurred.
The reported narrative of Plymouth Police Officer Ryan Richey explained dispatch was advised that one male was bleeding from the head. His report indicates that units arrived on the scene and during an investigation, they discovered that 23-year-old Devin M. Sanchez was found to be in possession of a handgun without a permit. Sanchez also allegedly became combative with an officer but after a brief struggle, PPD Officers were able to take Sanchez into custody.
The report states that Sanchez was transported to Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the original altercation. He was then taken to the Marshall County Jail.
