The project at Baker and Randolph Streets may be done in two weeks.
Street Superintendent Jim Marquardt told the Plymouth City Council this week that they are working to get the intersection done.
Marquardt also gave an update on street and sidewalk projects still anticipated to be complete this year.
“When I talked to the contractor they were going to look at their schedule,” said Marquardt. “Some of the streets we have are pretty straight forward – mill and fill. He said he would definitely get into all of the concrete work on a few of the projects. He said he can control that better with the weather. He said he was going to look at their schedule to try and find some of the quick mill and fill projects and get some of those in. They were talking that they’ll definitely do concrete this year.”
The city council ratified the lowest bid for the many projects in this proposal provided by Walsh and Kelly. Two projects were removed from the bids. The amended bid approved totaled $1,087,421.19
