The John Glenn School Board members held a public hearing on the 2018 budget on Tuesday night.
The 2018 budget estimate for all funds totals $17,730,462. The General Fund is just over $12,740,000 while the Capital Project Fund is estimated at $1,344,165. Officials told MAX 98.3 FM News that no major projects are anticipated in 2018, just maintenance on equipment, buildings and grounds. The Bus Replacement Plan is estimated at $300,000.
No public comment was given during the public hearing.
The 2018 budget will be adopted at the next meeting of the John Glenn School Board on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. in the administration building on the school’s campus.
