The Shady Rest Committee is set to hear proposals on the use of the county home on Lincoln Highway. The nine-member committee received four soft proposals for the use of the building at a meeting earlier this month. They will now gather more information about two entities that submitted proposals including background, purpose and community impact.
In a previous setting, the committee came to the conclusion that Prairie View Adult Services and Gregg Erickson have visions that match what they’re looking for in services to offer Marshall County residents. Addiction recovery is the main focus for both organizations who will discuss their intentions in more detail.
The Shady Rest Committee will meet at 2 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Marshall County Building in Plymouth.
