Randy and Eleanor Danielson are turning over the reigns of the Johnson-Danielson Funeral home to Jim and Terry Weldy and funeral home manger and director Caryn Durski in October.

The Danielson family took ownership of the funeral home on North Michigan Street in Plymouth in January of 1995. Randy worked at the facility since 1973 and he and his family became the sixth family to become stewards of this funeral service firm.

Now after 22 years, the Danielsons welcome the Weldy family to take over operations. They currently reside in a home adjacent to the funeral home. Jim Weldy has been in the funeral service for 39 years and will continue to serve the Plymouth and surrounding communities with the same attention to detail as his predecessor.

All professional staff members will remain in place.

Randy and Eleanor Danielson have spent 44 years in the funeral service business and now they will have time to spend on other endeavors within the community. They welcome Jim and Terry Weldy and Caryn Durski to the community and to the business.
