Funeral Services Set for Triton Student, Football Game Rescheduled

The Triton and Pioneer football game has been moved in order for the Triton school community to say goodbye to a high school student.

Cameron Scarberry, 16, died from injuries sustained from a single vehicle rollover accident on 650 North near 700 West in Kosciusko County. Scarberry’s brother was also in the vehicle and sustained multiple injuries, but he has since been released from the Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Scarberry was a junior at Triton High School where he was a member of the football and wrestling teams since his freshman year. He was also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students.

Funeral services for Cameron Scarberry are Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Triton High School Auditorium with visitation at the school Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorials in Scarberry’s name can be made to the family in care of the Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home in Bourbon.

MAX 98.3 FM will broadcast tonight’s match-up with Triton and Pioneer with Tony Ross and Scott Masters broadcasting the play-by-play action beginning at 6:15 p.m.
