A Mishawaka woman was injured in a single vehicle crash in Marshall County late Thursday evening.
Marshall County police say Danielle Evanoff was driving north on U.S. 31 south of 5A Road when she left the roadway for unknown reasons. She attempted to correct the action, but lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle lost control, struck a cable barrier in the grass median and began rolling, according to the report. The vehicle came to rest on its top.
Evanhoff was able to get out of the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer with the assistance of a good Samaritan.
Evanhoff was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with a complaint of neck pain.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Indiana State Police, and LaPaz Fire and EMS.
