Culver Fall Fest Begins Oct. 6

 

The Culver Fall Fest is just around the corner. As a lead-in to the Culver Fall Fest, town wide yard sales begin today and run through tomorrow.

The Fall Fest kicks off Friday, Oct. 6 with a moonlight paddle and s’mores on the beach at 7 p.m. The Tom Petty and the Heartbeakers Tribute Band begins at 8 p.m. Meet and greet the band after the show at 10 p.m.

The Culver Lion’s Club breakfast begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at the Depot, the Bolt for Blessings fun run/walk is at 8:30 a.m. while the farmer’s market opens at 9 a.m. The pet parade is at 11 a.m. and then the festival officially opens with food booths and vendors, at history hayride at 2 p.m. and the chili cook-off at 2 p.m.

On Sunday, Oct. 8, the Culver Kiwanis Cyclocross is at 9 a.m. and the history bike ride is at 1 p.m. Art will be on display along with crafts for the kids until 3 p.m.

The downtown businesses will be open late on Friday and Saturday for more shopping opportunities.
