The John Glenn Building Trades Class recently sold the house the students worked on during the last school year.
John Glenn School Board member Dennis Holland updated the board Tuesday night and said the house sold at approximately $173,000.
The class does not have a specific project for a community member for the upcoming school year so the students will build another spec house to be sold when completed. Holland said land has been purchased in the Walnut Crossing area just north of town.
Superintendent Richard Reese noted that the Building Trades class was under the direction of a new teacher last school year and it went smoothly. He anticipates a better year under Brian Perry’s leadership.
