A Bremen business recently donated $1,000 to Project Lead the Way, an organization that focuses on giving Bremen Middle School students hands-on experience with science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The Bremen School Board unanimously voted to accept the donation from Nishikawa Standard Company during their meeting earlier this week. Sabrina Wickins, the faculty member in charge of the program, is going to use the donated money to buy more robots for the students to use for competitions. The school already has a few robots but these new additions will allow more students to be involved with the robotics competitions.
