Two juveniles are in custody after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through two counties early Sunday morning.
A Bourbon police officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on State Road 331 at 11B Road after the driver reportedly committed several traffic violations. Police say the driver drove the vehicle off to the side of the road, turned around and led police on a 14-mile pursuit into Kosciusko County. Speeds reached 110 mph, according to the report.
Stop sticks were deployed and the vehicle traveled over them on U.S. 30 and 350 West. Police say the pursuit ended on 200 West just north of Fox Farm Road.
Upon further investigation by the Bourbon Police Department, the vehicle involved in the pursuit was reported stolen out of South Bend.
Two juveniles from South Bend were taken into custody.
The Bourbon Police Department was assisted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, Winona Lake Police Department and the Indiana State Police.
